10/26-10/28: Elon University, photographs (continuation of Teaching and Learning Project) and presentation

I’m heading back to the University of Virginia May 3-5, 2016 to provide the keynote presentation, “The Photograph as Catalyst for Learning and Change,” at their Innovation in Pedagogy Summit. This will be a continuation of my work with UVa’s Center for Teaching Excellence.

I’ll be at Wayne State University March 21-24, 2016 working with the the staff at WSU’s Office for Teaching and Learning in a continuation of the Teaching and Learning Project. I’ll be making new photographs and providing the keynote presentation at the  OTL’s Warrior Teaching Days.

2015

I’ll be continuing the Teaching and Learning Project at the University of Virginia November 16-18, 2015. I’ll be making new photographs there, working with the staff of UVa’s Center for Teaching Excellence.

October 19-23, 2015 I’ll be making new photographs for the Teaching and Learning Project during Caltech’s TeachWeek.

I’ll be continuing the Teaching and Learning Project, making new photographs and giving a presentation at Penn State University February 16-20, 2015. This work is in collaboration with Penn State’s Shreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence.

2014

I’ll be continuing the Teaching and Learning Project, making new photographs and giving a presentation at Texas Tech University September 29-October 3, 2014. This work is in collaboration with TTU’s Teaching, Learning, & Professional Development Center.

Selections from the work I’ve been making at Marquette University in WI will be on display there in May, 2014. The exhibition is part of a celebration of teaching and learning coordinated by the Marquette University Center for Teaching and Learning.

2013

Selections from the Teaching and Learning project are currently on exhibit at the University Center Rochester Gallery at Rochester Community and Technical College. The work will be up through February 27th, 2013.

On April 8-10, 2013 I’ll be making new Teaching and Learning photographs at Caltech. I’ll also be giving a workshop for their faculty, staff and graduate students on how to use photographs to communicate about teaching and learning across campus sectors.
