This has been a (pleasantly) busy spring! I worked with Brown University in March, then headed out to Caltech and Cornell University in April. The projects and visits were so different from one another, and the collaborations could not have been more enjoyable. I’ve already posted details of – and a few edits from – the photographs I made for Brown University. You can see those and read more on the Caltech work in previous posts. There is one thing I neglected to include in that post: a time lapse video of the Caltech show installation made by Cassandra Horii, my colleague in the Teaching and Learning Project, friend, and veritable force in the world of educational development.

I’m currently wrapping up edits to photographs I made at Cornell University. Here’s a first peek:

I photographed three class sessions for Cornell, and had a great workshop session with staff from their truly amazing Center for Teaching Innovation. (Photos by the multi-talented Mathew Ouellett, CTI Executive Director.)

What’s next? Just this book two of my close colleagues and I have been knocking around for a few years: http://wvupressonline.com/node/759 – just made available for pre-order! Natasha Haugnes and Hoag Holmgren are two of the best co-authors around, and I can’t wait to get out and talk to folks about Meaningful Grading: A Guide for Faculty in the Arts when it’s officially released later this summer. I’ll have more on that as it happens.
