Last week, I visited Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. I spent three days there photographing faculty and students engaged in service learning with several community partners and at as many different sites. I also photographed faculty teaching in the classroom and teaching at a distance. (Classes were discussing projects with colleagues from across the country, and across the “Pond.”) It was a great experience, an amazing institution and a perfect continuation of the Teaching and Learning Project. I’ll be back there in May to install an exhibition of the photographs, and to give a talk about the project during a celebration of teaching and learning.
